Chirality Days dedicated to professor André Collet (JACC) own their popularity by bringing together French and foreign researchers around chirality topics. Historically, many important French researchers, such as Biot, Fresnel, Pasteur for the most famous, made essential discoveries about and around chirality. Today, the JACC's purpose in France is to highlight the scientific research activities dealing with all fundamental and applied aspects of chirality. These meetings allow researchers working on several subjects, in many cases complementary, to interact, discuss and establish new scientific collaborations.
The main topics addressed during these days are molecular and supramolecular chemistry, chiral materials, chiral discrimination, fundamental and applied spectroscopy, homochirality and aspects of fundamental physics. This event attracts experienced researchers that develop high level research and in the same time offers a significant space to young participants, especially students.
The previous editions took place in 2009 and 2012 in Dinard and in 2015 in Lyon. The fourth edition of this congress will be organized for the first time by the MOLTECH-Anjou laboratory, University of Angers, and it will take place from September 24th to 27th on the Noirmoutier island, on the Atlantic coast.
